Change is on the horizon.  Today, Maria Grazia Chiuri debuted 71 looks at Dior's Fall 2018 Couture show—upholding the House's sense of craftsmanship and demure, sophisticated elegance.  While models tend to sashay down the catwalk in matching beauty looks, each Dior model honed their signature style.  Adwoah's buzz cut.  Lineisy's short fro.  Newcomer Indira Scott, the DNA/Anti Agency model who landed an exclusive contract with Dior during the Resort season, ushered natural hair into a new light by donning a braided updo.

While natural hair is by and large more welcome on the runway today thanks in part to Maria Borges, it is rare to see models sport braids, twists, or locs—especially at Couture shows.  Upping the ante, Scott's braids were adorned with wooden beads that have already made a cameo on her Instagram.  Guido Palau was on hair duty at today's show, but it looks like Scott may have shown up with her edges already in tact like á la Naomi Campbell and Veronica Webb.  We can't help but wonder: Could you hear the beads making their entrance over the music?
